Mr Burstow has taken up the matter for TfL bosses. He is asking what consultation took place with traders and what steps are being taken to work with traders to ensure that business is not harmed.
Commenting Paul Burstow MP, said, "TfL bosses have failed to consult the school and failed to consult with traders. That failure means that they have not planned their works with either the school of local traders in mind. Business is hard at the moment so major road works have to be very carefully planned and timed to accommodate businesses to make sure that no harm is done to trade."
