Burstow pays visit to Volunteer Centre

Local MP Paul Burstow visited Sutton's Volunteer Centre in West Street last Saturday as part of their open day.

Staff members from the Volunteer Centre assist a team of people with learning disabilities to manage allotments and produce their own vegetables. The team were selling their delicious-looking produce in order to raise money and awareness of their work.

Commenting on the visit, Paul Burstow MP said:

"This open day highlights the real value which the volunteer centre can add to the lives of local people."

"The team are doing great work and I congratulate them on their success - and their wonderful vegetables!"
